Day, 01 Arrive Delhi
Delhi - Capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 300 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th centaury mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's Imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate Arrive & check in.
Day, 02 Delhi
In the morning you will visit of Old & New Delhi.
Rajghat: The mortal remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated on this spot on the west bank of the river Yamuna.. A simple open platform inscribed with the Mahatma's last words, 'Hey Ram' (Oh God) are inscribed on this platform which is surrounded by a serene garden.
Red Fort (from outside): Delhi's famous Red Fort is known by that name because of the red stone with which it is built and it is one of the most magnificent palaces in the world.
Jamma Masjid: One of the Architectural gifts given by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India.
Qutab Minar: This is an ensemble of three monuments: the rust-free iron pillar, the Quwwatu'l-Islam mosque and the Qutb Minar (minaret). Most remarkable in the complex is the iron pillar, which was built during the Gupta Empire, it is made of such pure iron that it has never rusted, a standing testimony to the metallurgical skill of ancient Indians.
Humayun's Tomb: The Mughals brought with them a love for gardens, fountains and water. The first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, Constructed with red sandstone and ornamented marks the beginning of a new tradition of ornate style, which culminated in the Taj Mahal of Agra.
Day 03 Delhi / Haridwar / Rishikesh
In the morning board Express train to Haridwar, Arrive and drive to Rishikesh. In the afternoon the various temples.
Day 04 Rishikesh / Rudraprayag (142 kms)
Drive to Rudraprayad. Arrive & check in.
Rishikesh : Named after Lord Shiva (Rudra), Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakani rivers, at a distance of 34 km from Srinagar (Garhwal). The presence of two separate routes for Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham from Rudraprayag render great importance to the place. The entire region is blessed with immense natural beauty, places of religious importance, lakes and glaciers.
Day, 05 Rudraprayag / Joshimath (140 kms - 5 hr)
Today head for auli, a spectacular drive along river alaknanda, dense forest & views of the snowcapped mountain. On arrival check-in at hotel. Evening free to relax and unwind.
Day, 06 Joshimath / Auli / Joshimath (15 kms)
Full day excursion to auli. Explore auli bugyal (meadow) here one can find lotds of wild flower.
Day, 07 Joshimath / Govindghat (22 kms - 1-½ hrs) / Ghangaria (14 kms trek)
Morning drive to govindghat from here our 2 days trek commences to valley of flowers. Today trek to ghangria through pine forest, on the way rewarded with beautiful views of 6,200 m. Hathi parbhat.
Day, 08 Ghangaria / Valley of Flower / Ghangaria (8 kms trek to & fro)
Today trek to valley of flower. A splendid valley with hundreds of flower. Valley of flower stands at an altitude of 12,050 ft. Explore the valley & evening return back to ghangaria.
(Please note camping within the valley of flower is not permitted.)
Day, 09 Ghangria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangria (12 kms trek to & fro)
Today trek to hemkund sahib. Hemkund sahib is reversed by both hindus & sikhs. Evening return back to ghangria.
Day, 10 Ghangarai / Govindghat / Pipalkoti (14 kms trek - 40 kms drive - 2.5 hrs)
Drive to pipalkoti.
Day, 11 Pipal koti / Rishikesh (230 kms - 9 hrs)
Today drive to Rishikesh.
Day, 12 Rishkesh / Haridwar / Delhi
Drive to Haridwar, on arrival board Express train to Haridwar to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel
Day, 13 Delhi
Day at leisure for independent activities
Day, 14 Depart Delhi
