Tour Programme

Day 01 Sunday – Arrive Bangalore
Meeting on arrival and transfer from airport to Hotel.
Day Free for independent activities.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Monday- Bangalore
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning at leisure.
Transfer to Hotel Leela Palace (If you are not staying at the same hotel) to assembling point where all other participants of Golden Chariot meet and continue to City tour of Bangalore. Later in the evening transfer to Railway station to board The Golden Chariot - Pride of the South train.
Leave Bangalore in the evening
Overnight in the train

Day 03 Tuesday- Mysore – Kabini – Bandipur
After breakfast depart for Kabini or Bandipur
Reach Jungle Lodge
Lunch at the Jungle Lodge
Jungle/Boat Safari
Return in the evening for wildlife film
Dinner and overnight at Jungle Lodge

Day 04 Wednesday - Mysore
Breakfast and depart for Mysore.
Later morning back on board the train
Lunch on board.
After lunch sightseeing of Mysore visit Mysore Palace.
Srirangapatnam.
Evening reach at hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace for cultural show
Followed by dinner
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Thursday - Hassan
Morning arrive Hassan. After breakfast depart for sightseeing
to Shravanabelagola (Please note that you will have to climb
Close to 700 steps. However palanquins are available.
Lunch on board.
Depart for Belur and Halebid . Back to train
Dinner and overnight in the train.

Day 06 Friday - Hospet
After breakfast depart for Hampi sightseeing. Visit Virupaksha
Temple, Queen`s Bath, Elephant Stables, Local crafts bazaar
Return to train for lunch
After lunch depart for sightseeing. Visit Royal enclosure, Hazara
Rama Temple, Illuminated Vittala Temple.
Evening back to train
Dinner and overnight at the train.

Day 07 Saturday - Badami
Early morning depart from Hospet to Badami
Breakfast in Badami and proceed for sightseeing. Visit Badami
Caves and Pattadakal
Return to train for lunch
Later depart for Goa. Relax and enjoy facilities onboard
Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 08 Sunday - Goa
Breakfast on board and later depart for sightseeing
Visit the famous churches of Old Goa. Also visit old Portuguese
House; Sola Souto Maior for tea/coffee and cookies
Lunch at Majorda Beach Resort.
Later , an Ayurvedic msssage, a visit to the casio, a dip in the
pool/bech etc. ( mssage and casino on extra charges.)
Depart resort and arrive in the train
Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 09 Monday - Bangalore
After breakfast de-board train in Bangalore.
