Tour Programme

Day 01 Friday - Arrive Delhi.
Meeting on arrival and transfer from airport to Hotel.
Day Free for independent activities.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Saturday- Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit Old Delhi - the tour begins with a visit to the Jama Mosque also known as the largest Mosque in India.. Drive past the breathtaking Red Fort Later, proceed on to Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi

Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi, begins with a drive past Safdarjang’s Tomb (1753 AD) while we are on the way to the Qutab Minar This striking medieval tower of victory, build by the slave dynasty, is 73 m high. Within the Qutab complex, Continue your tour to visit the Humayun’s Tombs – Later drive through the New Delhi area – through the Embassy area (Diplomatic enclave), Government buildings - Parliament House, Presidents House and India Gate.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 Sunday - Delhi – Agra – Delhi.
Early morning transfer to Railway Station (packed breakfast)
Dep: Delhi at 0600 hrs. by Shatabdhi Express
Arr: Agra at 0800 hrs.
Meeting on arrival and transfer from Railway Station to city.

Later proceed for a city tour where you will experience the TAJ MAHAL (closed on Fridays).. Also visit Agra Fort : the original red sandstone fort built by Moghul Emperor Akbar.
Lunch in Agra.
Later drive back to Delhi ( 205 Kms/4.30 hrs.)
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 Monday - Delhi – Coimbatore – Ootacamund (Ooty)
Early breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from hotel to airport :
Dep: Delhi at 0700 hrs. by IC-857
Arr: Coimbatore at 1145 hrs.
Meeting on arrival and transfer from airport to Ooty ( 85 Kms/3 hrs.)
Rest of the day at leisure.
Ooty: (Ootacamund) located In Tamil Nadu, this beautiful hill station was established by the British, founded in 1819 by John Sullivan (the former collector of Coimbatore).
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Tuesday - Ooty
Breakfast at the hotel.
Day free for independent activities.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 Wednesday - Ooty – Mysore
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from Ooty to Mysore ( 160 Kms/4.30 hrs)
Arrive Mysore.
Transfer to Railway station to board GOLDEN CHARIOT –PRIDE OF SOUTH train.
Lunch in the train
After lunch sightseeing of Mysore visit Mysore Palace.
Srirangapatnam.
Evening reach at hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace for cultural show
Followed by dinner
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Thursday - Hassan
Morning arrive Hassan. After breakfast depart for sightseeing
to Shravanabelagola (Please note that you will have to climb
Close to 700 steps. However palanquins are available.
Lunch on board.
Depart for Belur and Halebid . Back to train
Dinner and overnight in the train.

Day 08 Friday - Hospet
After breakfast depart for Hampi sightseeing. Visit Virupaksha
Temple, Queen`s Bath, Elephant Stables, Local crafts bazaar
Return to train for lunch
After lunch depart for sightseeing. Visit Royal enclosure, Hazara
Rama Temple, Illuminated Vittala Temple.
Evening back to train
Dinner and overnight at the train.

Day 09 Saturday - Badami
Early morning depart from Hospet to Badami
Breakfast in Badami and proceed for sightseeing. Visit Badami
Caves and Pattadakal
Return to train for lunch
Later depart for Goa. Relax and enjoy facilities onboard
Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 10 Sunday - Goa
Breakfast on board and later depart for sightseeing
Visit the famous churches of Old Goa. Also visit old Portuguese
House; Sola Souto Maior for tea/coffee and cookies
Lunch at Majorda Beach Resort.
Later , an Ayurvedic msssage, a visit to the casio, a dip in the
pool/bech etc. ( mssage and casino on extra charges.)
Depart resort and arrive in the train
Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 11 Monday - Bangalore
After breakfast de-board train in Bangalore.
