Tour Programme

Day 01 Monday - Bangalore
Assemble at Hotel Leela Palace in the morning where all other participants of Golden Chariot meet and continue to City tour of Bangalore. Later in the evening transfer to Railway station to board the train.
GOLDEN CHARIOT –PRIDE OF SOUTH.
Leave Bangalore in the evening
Overnight in the train

Day 02 Tuesday - Mysore – Kabini – Bandipur
After breakfast depart for Kabini or Bandipur
Reach Jungle Lodge
Lunch at the Jungle Lodge
Jungle/Boat Safari
Return in the evening for wildlife film
Dinner and overnight at Jungle Lodge

Day 03 Wednesday - Mysore
Breakfast and depart for Mysore.
Later morning back on board the train
Lunch on board.
After lunch sightseeing of Mysore visit Mysore Palace.
Srirangapatnam.
Evening reach at hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace for cultural show
Followed by dinner
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 Thursday - Hassan
Morning arrive Hassan. After breakfast depart for sightseeing
to Shravanabelagola (Please note that you will have to climb
Close to 700 steps. However palanquins are available.
Lunch on board.
Depart for Belur and Halebid . Back to train
Dinner and overnight in the train.

Day 05 Friday - Hospet
After breakfast depart for Hampi sightseeing. Visit Virupaksha
Temple, Queen`s Bath, Elephant Stables, Local crafts bazaar
Return to train for lunch
After lunch depart for sightseeing. Visit Royal enclosure, Hazara
Rama Temple, Illuminated Vittala Temple.
Evening back to train
Dinner and overnight at the train.

Day 06 Saturday - Badami
Early morning depart from Hospet to Badami
Breakfast in Badami and proceed for sightseeing. Visit Badami
Caves and Pattadakal
Return to train for lunch
Later depart for Goa. Relax and enjoy facilities onboard
Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 07 Sunday - Goa
Breakfast on board
De-board the train at Goa
Transfer to hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Goa. Visit the famous churches of
Overnight in the train

Day 08 Monday - Goa- Cochin
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning free for independent activities .
Board Kingfisher airlines IT 2883 at 1520 hrs to Cochin.
Kochi (Cochin): Now known as Kochi, is one of India’s largest ports where the misty silhouettes of huge merchant ships can be seen anchored off the point of Fort Cochin
Arrive Cochin. Meeting & assistance upon arrival followed by transfer to hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 Tuesday - Cochin – Trivendrum (Kovalam)
Breakfast at hotel.
Today morning morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin, here you will visit
Fort Cochin - Ancient capital of the Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British.
Chinese fishing nets - The Chinese Fishing nets that line the sea front and exhibit a mechanical method of catching fish by local fishermen in Fort Kochi.
St. Francis church This Protestant church was originally built by the Portuguese and is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India.
Drive to Kovalam via Alleppey (Cochin/Alleppey 65 Kms/2 hrs.)
Enjoy boat ride on back water at Alleppey
Continue drive to Kovalam ( Alleppey/Kovalam -160 Kms/3.30 hrs)
Arrive Kovalam Beach, check in at the hotel.

Day 10 Wednesday - Kovalam
Breakfast at the hotel.
Day free for independent activities.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Thursday - Kovalam-Trivendrum airport –Abroad.
Transfer from Kovalam beach to International airport at
Trivendrum in time to connect flight for your onward destination.
