Welcome to Jewish India India is perhaps one of the only country in the world where there has never been any anti-Semitic sentiments expressed by the local communities. Jews continue to live and prosper in India, though with a population of only 6,000, and have maintained an unbroken line of ethnic and religious tradition and displayed a remarkable adaptability to the changing times. Starting from Mumbai, we will visit all major cities, which have Jewish influence, Cochin (Backwaters), Navgoan (Alibagh), Agra – Taj Mahal (Seventh wonder of the world) and Delhi in India. We will also visit the Synagogues and meet Jewish patron saint of Indian poets, intellectuals & community members. We will observe their unique culture, traditions and see historic sites related to Judaism, which dates back more than 2000 years. The tour will include accommodation in 5 star category of hotels, with the option of kosher, wherever possible, and Hindu vegetarian meals, which is available in all parts of India.
