4, April Kolkata – Paro
Morning you will be transferred to airport to board flight for Bhutan.
During the journey, one will experience from the left hand side of the plane breath taking view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks including the sacred Jhomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by our representative who will escort you to hotel. Evening at leisure explore the Paro town. Overnight in Paro.
5, April Paro Tshechu
Full Day Witnessing the Annual Paro Festival “Tshechu” in Paro Rinpung Dzong “Fortress built on the heap of Jewel. Overnight In Paro.
6, April Paro Tshechu

After breakfast visit the National Museum, former watch tower for the Paro Rinpung Dzong. Visit the Bhutan’s oldest Monastery built in 659AD by Tibetan king Songtsen Gembo to due the Ogress in Tibet and flourish Buddhism Teaching all over Himalayan region. He built 108 Monasteries in 24hours of time, out of which two are in Bhutan. One is Kyichu Monastery in Paro and another one in Bumthang called Jambay Lhakhang. Visit the Drukgyal Dzong, fortress built to celebrate Bhutanese Victory over the Tibetan Invaders in late 17th Century and built in 1649 AD.Overnight hotel in Paro.
7, April Paro – Thimphu
After breakfast drive to the base of famous Tiger’s Nest “Taktsang” built in 746 AD by Guru Rimpoche and then hike to the Monastery. Roughly it will
hike to the Monastery. Roughly it will take Four Hours of Hiking and then have lunch in the cafeteria. After noon drive to Thimphu. The drive would take about Two Hours. Overnight hotel in Thimphu.
8, April Thimphu
Visit the Memorial Chorten (a huge stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reigned the Kingdom from 1952-1972.Visit the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved Visit the Painting School where traditional arts and crafts are still kept alive. Visit the handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are displayed and can be purchased. Visit Simtokha Dzong. This is one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan. It was built in 1629 A.D. Visit Paper Factory where one could see the making of Traditional Paper making from bark of a Daphne Tree. Overnight in Thimphu.
9, April Thimphu – Punakha
After breakfast drive to Punakha which The drive would take Three Hours. Stop at Dochula Pass at 3150Mts. If the weather is clear one could see the
panoramic view of the Eastern Himalayas. Tea/Coffee will be served at the Cafeteria. Lunch will be served in Hotel. After Lunch visit the Historic Punakha Dzong built inbetween Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River) and Hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal, Monastery built by Her Majesty and dedicated to the Crown price. Overnight in Punakha.
10, April Punakha – Paro
After breakfast visit the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and hike to the famous Lama Drukpa Kuenley’s Monastery, The No Dog Monastery or Temple of Fertility. Lunch at Dochula Pass with Eastern Himalaya view in front. The drive to paro would take Five Hours. Overnight in Paro.
11, April Paro – Delhi
Morning you will be transferred to airport for flight back to Delhi.
Met on arrival and transferred to hotel. (Closer to the airport) Rest of the day at leisure. Room blocked until departure.
Depending on you flight time you will be transferred to airport to board flight back home.
